@streakmachine There’s a racist joke along those lines about the Polish that I recall. “How do you know you’re in a Polish neighborhood?”
Dates back to the time when it was the European immigrants to America that everyone discriminated against, rather than the Mexican. They threw in some religious discrimination for extra fun back then - nowadays it seems purely ethnic (or at least no longer anti-Catholic, but anti-Muslim instead, which doesn’t much blend with the anti-Mexican sentiment).
