@streakmachine I see a lot of attention paid to rendering performance by frontend devs (mobile and Web); achieving smooth scrolling especially often pushes people to learn more.
On the backend, Go seems to be replacing some of the less performant approaches, the ones where you needed like 3 instances to not fall over (Rails and Django and…). It manages to deliver a similar developer experience and productivity with a more performant runtime and a background mindset of operating at Google, rather than mom-and-pop, scale.
