@larand Markdown I’m OK with in theory. But it’s about as much of a crapshoot as trying to get consistent results from HTML in the 90s, only without recourse to tables and spacer gifs.
Markdown as HTML shortcut lets you sprinkle in tags wherever. Very helpful for anchors and xrefs in a doc. Markdown as a “cooler BBCode” may be variously neutered and mangled, though. And that seems to be way too much of its use.
Maybe I should just substitute HTML input via Emmet for Markdown more often, though. Hmm.
