You’re in good company! George Bernard Shaw endowed a huge reward for a better writing system in his will. It got spent fighting off greedy museums and such mostly, but still funded selection of a winner and a print run of _Androcles and the Lion_ in the Shavian alphabet. The wacky thing is that stock OSs have fonts that support it - check out https://www.shavian.info/ and https://www.shavian.info/alphabet/.

(The creator of that, Kingsley Read, went on to do a more cursive v2 called Quickscript, or the Read Alphabet. It is not natively supported everywhere alas.)
