@dgold The downside of a large and populous country with questionable public education. Just think how much more peaceful the Internet Anglosphere would be if we'd ended up with French, Dutch, German, or Spanish instead as the main American language.

@larand Ah yeah. You'd be left with the "fun" manual approach of nuking the text sound only. And then setting it back. And forth. And back. :\
Unless the on-call calls all route through a known number, in which case, you can rig it up to always sound. But if it's from any which number, no dice.
