@matigo Not that scary, given how undervalued tech employees seem to be in Japan versus the Anglosphere. (Taxes on the other hand sound like they'd be hell.) You seem happy with the impact you're able to have on people via your work, though, and that can be hard to come by.

Lately, Siri has flat out ignored time periods of weeks and even a fortnight when setting reminders. Creates one expiring right now. Have to delete then rephrase in terms of number of days. ?

@ukhaiku I don't consider that terribly reasonable either, especially not in the face of known collusion on the buying side of the labor market.
But I also have some sympathy for how trying to do the utmost for your client as the lawyer drafting the contract can lead creating very one-sided contracts.

@streakmachine Pi Hole looks pretty convenient. I've got my NAS acting as caching DNS for my LAN, but didn't see a good way to seed its hosts with dead-ends for ad BS.
