@kdfrawg I think managing expectations is part of my job description. If it isn't, it should be.

@matigo I think the key with the thermal carafe is that there's a lot of coffee in there. It's not as good for as long when it's a cup or two as when it's a full pot, IME.

@matigo Oh no. I only ever add anything to coffee immediately before drinking.

I mostly don't add anything these days. It takes really good coffee to make that doable, though. If the coffee sucks, bring on the half-and-half and sweetener!
