@jmreekes Georgia doesn’t do safety inspections at all. Emissions are annual, but only cost like $15-$20 and take maybe 15 minutes. They switched from annual ad valorem taxes to upfront sales tax a few years ago - probably greatly reduced paperwork and collections costs.

Kids are indeed busy, with the little one working on reliably standing, while the big one seems to have recently gained more self control but also some shyness.
Work stepped up a lot in busy-ness over the last month. I now manage a team of three with a fourth starting Monday. Plus leading a project and helping with sales and improving sales–engineering collaboration and messaging around tightening security and writing blogposts and… Yeah, just a tch busy of late. ;)

@hazardwarning People made OO out to be some big complicated thing, and then the range of meanings that got attached to it because it was The Future made it blurry and confusing. :(
