There are practical issues. They’re worse with certain paper (steno pads, because of the short-side binding and small page size) and pens (anything that doesn’t dry instantly).

With looseleaf or a standard long-side spiral or binder and a stick pen, though? The tools that most everyone uses? It just doesn’t matter all that much, and forcing a change is silly.

If it’s the sole Node service on the box, you could meet the node version req using your OS package manager. (I think I use nodenv in a pinch, but have neither installed just now.)

I can’t believe hijacking a Twitter clone tutorial endpoint and repurposing it into a Mb client would be so time consuming if you already controlled the Mb backend and knew it intimately.
