Using speech recognition for a first draft of an offline transcription makes plenty of sense. Nowhere near accurate enough for real-time yet, though. Lucky thing you need only the former. :)

How does the transcript play into your production workflow? Do you edit the transcript (cut, group, rearrange) and then update the audio to match?

Curious, why a nickname? We had names picked for both kids months in advance, basically ASAP once we knew their sex. Shared the names with close family and friends then.
