@gtwilson Go is deliberately a child of the eighties. It has its pros and cons.
@kdfrawg Not too long. A few nights? I've grown my beard out on and off since like the summer before ninth grade. >.>
Mostly settled on short the last decade, though.

@gtwilson They still teach technical writing to actual engineers. But 99% of US universities lack a proper software engineering degree, so we get CS majors instead. And they're split off enough from the math department often enough that they don't absorb LaTeX and Halmos's How to Write Mathematics (good summary: http://mathtourist.blogspot.com/2010/07/paul-halmos-on-writing-mathematics.html ). All PowerPoint all day long instead.

@gtwilson I don't know if I follow a single company there. People tend to be more interesting than PR departments.
@whoisashygirl @hazardwarning posted a link to some ¿ecandy? ones that are a lot cheaper but have a similar design. I don't think they've been put to the test for waterproof the way Wirecutter did for the JLab (that was crazy!), but they do claim it.
@matigo I'm going to put a glass film on my next phone and stick it in a case ASAP. Learned it's more annoying to have cracks than it is to have the phone in a case.
@tomas That's normal. I'd say it's a bit longer than that though where it happens for me. It gets prickly and prickles my own face, most noticeably when I lie on my side in bed. Then it outgrows that and is fine again.
I keep mine trimmed under that length mostly. Hair and beard just stay short these days.
