@kdfrawg For sure. I do way different stuff than I did five years ago. So many hours watching kids out away from a desk. It's made laptops and paper books very much less accessible.

@kdfrawg Yeah, I wouldn't carry it. I'd leave it at a desk.
The reason I'm on the phone so much in the first place is of course that I have nearly zero non-work desk time, of course, so this doesn't help me at all. An Air would be useless for my needs too. I need that instant pocketability.

@skematica …but seL4 does have a machine-verified proof of its correctness and security. ;)

@indigo I've actually had great luck with external keyboards and my phone. Can use the same as I used with an iMac a few years ago. Not having a mouse kinda sucks, though.

@schmidt_fu Or get a mouse and keyboard with an output selector. My mouse lets me flip a hardware switch to choose between three different paired devices.

@gtwilson Really old C is gorgeous. Before they bothered with much more than register int ALL the things. ;)
Loved Lions' Commentary.
@gtwilson OK @matigo, now it's broken. Parent of this post isn't showing in the thread, nor is this post itself. :(

@gtwilson C as portable assembler, ?? for its day.
Now, it's not the best model of modern assemblies, and it's metastasized into its own thing.
