@jextxadore Nailed it.

@hazardwarning Of the two, I believe Crashplan won out in the Wirecutter review.
@matigo Ah. Huh. I wasn't seeing then back when I tried to yank them in Macchiato, but it's hard for me to dig them up to test now. Need a "show thread for post id" button or something.
@bazbt3 The color version was a remake with plot differences, not just a colorization of the original. :)

@matigo Huh. I'm not seeing those posts when I visit the post page using the link. Are you saying that you are?
@bazbt3 The color version is kind of corny. The black and white original is way creepier and bleaker.
I recall the end of the 1978 Dawn of the Dead as being absolutely without hope and pretty powerful. The remake didn't do it justice.

@bazbt3 Oh, I've never heard those called certificates! Here, they're MPAA ratings, reflected in verbiage like "rated R". Only thing higher is NC-17 (which replaced X), which effectively blackballs you from showing in most theaters.

@matigo Reminds me of something I read recently:
Not so long ago I spent 5 months obtaining a thirteenth computer for a 12-person team that is the only team in their department that’s shipping successfully, at a Fortune 500 company with a whole agile software delivery department.
>
> I’m not talking about a super-computer here. I’m talking about a computer that would have cost less than one day of my billing to get. And yes, Virginia, I did offer to take the day off and show up the next day with a new box. I always do. They always decline.
