I know the docs are out of date. My point is more that a lot of the boring stuff is unnecessary to doc now anyway because we can crib from Cappuccino. It's the stuff where you can't observe it by snooping that needs docs. :)

Feeling cold during the change sometimes does it, as they end up bare-bottomed for a bit.

Sensitivity to whatever's in wipes or creams could also make the change uncomfortable.

Lying down flat can also make reflux a bit uncomfortable; putting a baby pillow or folded up clothing on the changing table and setting their head on that can help.

They also sometimes don't like how you're gripping them to position for wiping and diapering.

One of the great frustrations of the pre-verbal stage is that it's all a big guessing game as to what's actually bothering them. You just know something is (and how severely based on the volume).

//

The stuff that has bit me I think is:

  • Enumerations where I don't know what the range of valid values is or what they mean and when to use them (like visibility, IIRC)
  • Type-shifting values that might be Boolean false or be an actual (numeric, usually, IIRC) value.

Both of those are basically the same problem: What things can show up under this key, when, and what do they mean? Observing the posts and such that I can see never guarantees I saw all the cases.

I lean heavily on the Network pane of my browser's debugger in order to do as 10C does for everything. Snooping it is highly recommended.

As a bonus, the site's JS is actually readable, too!

I found the docs useful for orienting me to what's in the API, but not so much for how to use it, and what goes where, and what order you should call things in.

//

Interesting, it handles Firefox bookmark import. Good to know!

// @kdfrawg

Not particularly. I barely touched Delicious back in the day; having bookmarking baked-in and local was just too convenient. But maybe I should give it another look.

// @kdfrawg

Yes. Might at least get you some compensation.

//

@kdfrawg If it's not right there in the bookmark dialog, that's not promising.

Tab groups are nice, but I love tagged bookmarks. (And a nice, tidy sqlite3 database holding them all.)

//

They other ones are so cute and miniature though!

@kdfrawg Does Vivaldi let you tag bookmarks?
