@kdfrawg I've got a run of electrical tape over the brightest part. Had to sleep in the same room as it for a while.
Wrapped white electrical tape over the green magsafe LED as a "I need to be able to see the color, but not that brightly!" compromise.

@matigo I think MagSafe has mostly been victim of their "make it ever lighter" fetish. Eventually, it's not heavy enough to not just pull off with the cable. Or the magnet is so weak it falls off under its own weight.

@kdfrawg It's an Anker as well. I think 1 fast charge port and 4 regular. (And darn bright blue LEDs that shine through the molded white base of the case.)

@japchap I expect I'll be looking for a new laptop next year. And it will probably be Apple. So I'll be glad for a powered USB hub to save me from needing more than a handful of adapters. :/

@japchap One of the refreshed models does still have regular function keys. In fact, it's the only one available right now.
But yeah, I'm skeptical of the benefits. No help for my external keyboard and laptop on a stand workflow, for sure.
