• Capability: Web apps can do things that apps distributed via a store cannot. Apple refuse to allow some apps, or reject them callously with no explanation. They don’t get that call with Web apps.
  • Reach: Web apps are also available where the App Store is not. There are countries not yet reached by the App Store. There are countries the App Store is legally not allowed to trade with. But the Web does reach those places.

Dang. Wonder what’s up with that. I haven’t looked at what’s going on there in a long time. (I also find I rarely use that functionality, since I check in about daily, which probably doesn’t help.)

If you find a way to reliably break it, please let me know. That’d help a lot in tracking it down.

It was an unlikely possibility, but the great thing about software is there are so many parts that can go wrong. >.>

Scrolling doesn’t autoload. Did you tap to load more, and it then fetched stuff too old? I think I tried fixing that once before. Then it had issues with picking the right filter time between create vs pub date IIRC. If it just loaded like that to start on a fresh launch, I can only think API is being weird.

Edit: In Global, not seeing any issues paging back with Load More now. Went back 2 Mores.

I don’t see any equation, just a “what lessons might we learn from current events to apply to this too long a timescale to ever really count as current event” thing?

They’re desperate to sell TVs. Remember 3D TVs being all the rage a few years back? Sunk without a trace.

Ah interesting. I bet those would work better. I might have to see if I can replace a lightkit or two.

(We’re working with only 8-foot ceilings, so IIRC our fan selection is more limited.)

I sure hope so.

The cordless one I have is the Dyson v7 Motorhead.

The lights in ceiling fan light kits are forever dying on me. I suspect it’s overheating. CFLs, LEDs - doesn’t seem to matter. Still dead in under a year.
