@JeremyCherfas I tend to tidy and reorganize as I read: Rename variables, extract intermediate values as named variables, group lines into stanzas, extract named functions, add missing doc comments, maybe add a few tests for something confusing or that I suspect to be broken…
That way, when I come back to it again, it’s a lot less work to follow. I only have to struggle once.
@matigo A lot of English speakers feel like English spelling is bonkers, too. Spelling and script reform just never overcame inertia for long. There were some solid tries with Deseret, Pitman phonography, and Shavian, though.
(FWIW I read the LL as a digraph that happens to be pronounced the same as a single L, rather than one silent L and one spoken.)

This is fun. Totally kicked off the Machiatto upload hours ago. Come back 5 hours later and it's still authenticating with the App Store. Such authentication. Very drugged-up carrier pigeon.

@hazardwarning Ah crud. I probably won’t be able to do a build till Monday evening US Eastern at earliest (barring magic with VNC from an iPad). I have the TestFlight version on my iPad, but I’ve been using that for other things lately. :(
It’s actually weirder than expired, though - it’s acting like I have never uploaded a version at all! I wonder if this is undocumented fall-out from my distribution certificate expiring. Apple’s docs said nothing about TestFlight invalidation. :(
