@matigo We warn my younger siblings that they will hemorrhage money once they start having kids. Didn't stop my sister from having four in five years. (She actually started before us though, so didn't benefit from our warning, but you'd think she'd work that out after the first oneā¦)
@phoneboy Thanks! I've always enjoyed keyless start and proximity unlock in the rentals I've had that were equipped with it. That and auto headlights are on my nice-to-have list. :)
@hazardwarning Which inspires me to wonder if she's named Nozomi because "she keeps nosin' me". ;)

@hazardwarning Sounds frustrating. Your cars sound so exotic to me though! I learned to drive manual with a late-80s Honda CRX and automatic with an early-90s Toyota Camry.
Women's pants don't use anything so sane as an inseam measurement here, but I tend to wear 31" and my wife's legs are longer than mine, so likely fairly similar. And I bet you've just explained why she likes the seat so upright.
Lucky thing we both mostly like everything in the car configured the same way, or swapping drivers on a shared car would get annoying fast!
@hazardwarning I'm only 5-8 and still brushed the roof in the back seat with my hair.
I know torso vs leg length can vary a lot, and I suspect that plays in here. My wife is the same height as me, and it's funny to compare hip and waist points.
@phoneboy Thanks!
Do you play with the EV / Eco / Power buttons, or just leave it on one and forget they exist?
Anything weird about it that you didn't realize till a while later? Likewise, anything awesome that didn't click till later?
They had no Prius V for us to test-drive, though, so still need to put it through that trial before deciding.
Narrowed it down to a Corolla or Prius V. Rejected regular Prius because zomg so uncomfortable thanks to awful console shape. Rejected Camry because less room inside than Corolla (???!).
Also, what is with modern cars having so much less headroom than those from a decade ago? My head brushes roof of Camry and Corolla, while it has several inches' clearance in decade-old Lancer.
@bazbt3 Not getting shot at does count for a lot in home choice. Location matters so much.
