Doesn't Realm just trade CoreData stack for its own thing, and NSManagedObject for a RealmObject sort thing? And with the same sort of threading concerns?

IIRC WebViews tend to be pretty heavyweight and might also always expect to live in their own little scrollviews. UITextView and such used to use a webview underneath, but I think they switched to CoreText a few versions ago.

Careful, or I'll add BLINK and MARQUEE Markdown support. ;)

Figured out where I stole that gesture from: Slack uses the same long-press hidden gesture. And now has like 10 actions you can take on a post. o_O

Achievement unlocked: Record a voicemail greeting in verse.

Excellent, now actually fetching the logged-in user's profile, and then ignoring them when I CC-mention folks in a reply. [gitlab.com] Up way too late already, though, so no new build tonight.

//

No worries! I just took it as "that is way too subtle" feedback. :)

//

Good UI feedback I think.

It does a bit more! Long-press a post to star/reply/pin etc. Hit the plus button in upper right to write a new post when you're viewing any stream.

Log in under Settings first or everything but Global (and maybe Starters) will be empty, though. (Disabling stuff till you're logged in remains a to-do.)

Kid shattered a quart jar half-full of tea. Not fun. Hoping he learned not to do it again in the ensuing todo.
