Markdown I’m OK with in theory. But it’s about as much of a crapshoot as trying to get consistent results from HTML in the 90s, only without recourse to tables and spacer gifs.

Markdown as HTML shortcut lets you sprinkle in tags wherever. Very helpful for anchors and xrefs in a doc. Markdown as a “cooler BBCode” may be variously neutered and mangled, though. And that seems to be way too much of its use.

Maybe I should just substitute HTML input via Emmet for Markdown more often, though. Hmm.

Using code fence style (triple-backticks on a line by themselves both before and after), just leaving a blank line ought to work. With indentation style, you may need to indent the blank line, too.

Sure! I need an email to send the invite to.

When Apple finally release the “just click a link” beta sign-up flow later this year, it’ll get a lot easier.

My condolences. I can’t even imagine. :(

Moved my mic to a boom. It’s now both really obviously in front of the camera when I’m on video calls, but also really obviously sounds way better. Even people who can’t see it because I’m doing audio only or screensharing are commenting on how it sounds like they’re listening to a produced podcast.

It’s crazy what a difference just changing the mic’s location made!

Starbucks, the dishonest Dairy Queen?

Area leader?

Yup. For better and worse.

I considered it. It seems to have gotten to where it would be convenient. But I don’t personally judge it $300 convenient yet, and I have misgivings about making it easier for notifications to reach me, so I’ll continue without one for now.
