@matigo Housing development? Or GitHub?
@streakmachine I see a lot of attention paid to rendering performance by frontend devs (mobile and Web); achieving smooth scrolling especially often pushes people to learn more.
On the backend, Go seems to be replacing some of the less performant approaches, the ones where you needed like 3 instances to not fall over (Rails and Django and…). It manages to deliver a similar developer experience and productivity with a more performant runtime and a background mindset of operating at Google, rather than mom-and-pop, scale.

@phoneboy I have trouble reading any of this as something other than, “No fair! You listened to the other lobbyists!”
@matigo Maybe run UI tests and track perf metrics on the cheapest Android phone you can find?
@jextxadore It’s not slowness to respond, because the right number of digits shows up.
I suspect I’m mistargeting and hitting an adjoining key, or messing up two-handed coordination and getting numbers out of order, in my eagerness to get past the barrier. But it’s hard to be sure how I’m messing up in particular due to password masking. All the *s look the same.

@jextxadore Yeah. I have a longish digit-only password (so I still get to use the easier to target full-screen digit keyboard), and I seem to have to go really slowly entering it or it gets mistyped lately. Not like I get to see what it thought I entered to understand how it’s going wrong, either. :(
